UFC 318 - THE LAST DANCE

To honor Dustin Poirier’s retirement fight against Max Holloway, this piece aimed to capture the historic weight of the moment. I leaned into a monochrome, grainy style with bold contrast to give it a dramatic, timeless feel, while the typography adds a commanding presence. The texture helped ground the design and gave it a vintage fight-poster energy, while the wide banner format allowed for experimentation with scale and composition that emphasized the fighters’ larger-than-life presence. Designed in Photoshop, the piece was about creating something as memorable as the fight itself.
