KING OF THE MISCHIEVOUS SOUTH VOL. 2
This project was a redesign and merchandise package concept for King of the Mischievous South Vol. II by Denzel Curry. My aim was to visually translate the album’s mischievous, high-energy mood—equal parts playful, dark, and confident—into a unified design system.
The cover takes the form of a tagged street sign, while the back features a broken cassette, grounding the project in raw, street-level imagery. Inside, a spray-painted wall reveals the album title, and the vinyl label carries a hand-drawn, graffiti-inspired style to reinforce the DIY energy.
The apparel extends this aesthetic, pairing bold, hand-rendered typography with graphic motifs that echo the album’s Memphis and Southern hip hop roots. Together, the collection frames the record’s atmosphere—reckless, gritty, and full of attitude—across multiple mediums.
